You got a server you want us to host, or a fucking cool idea... Post it here... And who knows maybe someone will read it.

I just noticed you don't support HTTPS. Do you plan to enable it?
If yes, when do you plan to?
If no, is there a reason why?

Have a nice Friday.

Why would HTTPS be needed on a forum like this?
For Login-Data is transmitted via plaintext without HTTPS. The Password may be used in other contexts (and people rarely use a different password for each service), so it's an security issue. It also protects users privacy and integrity. Further reading: https://developers.google.com/web/funda ... /why-https

Now this is mostly my opinion, but it should never be asked for a reason to use HTTPS, but only a reason to be asked why not to use HTTPS.
I'm just curious on what the reasons are for the decision not to use it. I'm fine with or without it, but if the reason is simply "Why would we need HTTPS", I hope I could provide enough information on why.

In all honesty, I'm just lazy as fuck. I should get a cert this week or so.

I'm looking forward to. Check out Let'sEncrypt if you haven't, it's quite comfy.

Oh how I love modern day where EVERYTHING has to be fucking HTTPS.
Yeah, because having security is so bad and it's just a buzzword anyways. Back in the days, nobody could wire-tap your dial-up, because he had to dig a hole in your yard, right? Modern day bullshit.

On a completely different note, I agree that Let's Encrypt is a good solution, although a bit difficult to work with on a Windows Server, if memory serves.

If you care that much use a unique password like "Monkey11Oa8T4Frames" Save it to a word document and only use it for the non secure sites.
